After two league wins and on a high, BLIZZARDS 2 were always going to struggle at Woking against their third team, with a Friday night tip off, only seven players were available for selection with three recovering from illness, all the other squad players available were Cup tied from Tuesday’s win against Woking’s second team.
The lead kept fluctuating but the Bluzzards were just on top at half time and took a six point lead just into the last quarter 33-39 but a quick reversal with the locals hitting a 9-0 to take the lead with just under five minutes to play 42-39. The tiring Blizzards never recovered and are now heading for the Karl Taylor Plate having gone down 52-45
Could be a blessing in disguise with a strong team hopefully available from the non Cup tied Blizzards to keep a run going in the competition
