Simon Kearney’s three threes kept the locals on track and level at the end of the first quarter (15-15)
A change of defence to zone saw the BLIZZARDS take control with the intensity upped on defence enabling fast breaks and gradually pulling away 35-27 at the half time buzzer.
A flurry of threes at the start of the third quarter with two from Marcus Leach, Simon Kearney again and Chris Mullan finished off the Blackhawks less than four minutes into the half 47-27.
The Blizzards ending the game well on top with Gavin Frecklington finish several fast breaks in style in the last quarter. For a final score of 72-43
