Div3 BLIZZARDS comeback fades in last quarter

1 May 2018 by Marcel Mavronicholas

Woking Blackhawk Thunder Bolt 58-38 BLIZZARDS

The teams were all square at 59 each going into the second leg.
Woking quickly took command and were up to 15 points up in the first half.
After the break the BLIZZARDS hit the locals with a 10-0 run to close to within 2points 33-31 after Jack Bond hit successive threes, but this was short lived and Woking took a 7 point lead into the last quarter.
The margin was quickly doubled as the Blizzards as had been the case in the first quarter struggled making their shot.
Woking pulled away for an easy win 58-38
Very good effort by our young development side in their first season having finished third in the league and making the play offs.
BIG THUMBS UP 👍🏻🏀🏀🏀
Now looking to get that promotion place next season
Well done boys
