Farnb’rough Shadows 45-53 BLIZZARDS B

The Blizzards were looking to make amends after their last game, an OT loss by a single point.
Sunday game, away, but a strong side showed up at Frogmore for the 18:20 tip off.
A tight first quarter with the Shadows just shading it after a few fast breaks and their No69 hitting his first two threes, 14-10 Farnborough. The defence upped their game and only let in two basket in the second quarter but struggled to score as welll, not moving the ball fast enough to create easy options, but never the less they managed the get to half time level 18-18.
Adam Lack hitting three baskets in four minutes gives the BLIZZARDS a little breathing room 26-18, but Lines, the Shadows No69 hits another three threes in the next 4 minutes to level 32-32 and the quarter ends level 34 all.
Taylor Dawson with two and Stephen Murtagh get first shout in the last quarter 34-40 but yet again Lines keeps the home side alive 38-40. Ben Firrell with his first three of the game turn the tide back in the BLIZZARDS favour and Oliver Tate after having ruled in the pain with his defensive boards, now hits form and with four consecutive baskets 40-51 and finishes off Farnborough’s hopes, even Lines last three was too late and the BLIZZARDS coast home in the last two minutes, FT 45-53.
Big WIN for the BLIZZARDS that are now back on track for the play offs with an outside chance of promotion.
