Wolfpack Mohegan 38-63 BLIZZARDS B

Crucial away game before the Christmas break, the BLIZZARDS had to win to keep up their push towards the play offs and hopefully promotion. After their setback playing against Yateley and their big men. Harry Preston stepped back into the team having had to miss the Div1 game Sunday with some kind of poisoning as Oli Tate was not available to play.
The BLIZZARDS were quick of the mark even thought Max Bartholomew and Adam Luck started on the bench after late arrivals. The starting 5 moved the ball quickly and were getting into space and made the difference with an 11-0 in the middle of the quarter to lead 8-21 at the first buzzer. They were never threatened after that even though they struggled for baskets a little in the middle quarters, their zone defence was very solid as the stats showed half of the Wolpack’s score came from three pointers and the home team found it very hard to penetrate the BLIZZARDS hard working zone.
In the final quarter the Mohegans tired a little and the BLIZZARDS wore them down withTaylor Dawson and Tom Mavronicholas finishing off fast breaks to finish clear cut winners 38-63
Team:
Taylor Dawson 15pts, Tom Mavronicholas 12pts, Ben Firrell 10pts, Adam Lack 8pts, Stuart Elliott 6pts, Harry Preston 6pts, Max Bartholomew 4pts, Stephen Murtagh 2pts, Luke Karmazyn, Chris Reece.
