BLIZZARDS B 66-57 Bracknell Cobras

The Blizzards Div3 side were out looking for a good performance after the Div1 side lost their 100% league record Tuesday evening, seven if the eleven players were 18 or Under and they all played their part in tremendous team performance.
They soon took the lead 13-7 and 19-12 before Bracknell hit 2 threes including a buzzer beater to close to 19-18 at the end of the quarter. With the bench rotating nicely and all making a contribution the second quarter saw both teams exchange few baskets and the score remain tight 27-27 at the halfway.
Three minutes into the half the Cobras took a slender lead for the first time 31-32, it not for long 38-32 with five to play in the third quarter. The ball movement was fast and accurate and the locals were now taking advantage of the open shoots they were creating with Ben Firrell shinning and hitting consecutive threes to take a ten point lead 48-38.
Finishing the quarter up 54-43.
Bracknell were not yet finished and rallied to 56-54 behind with three minutes to play but with their strongest side back on and total composure the finished the Cobras off with a series of great assists to make the finishing look easy 66-57 as the time elapsed.
Congratulation and praise to all, big contributions by each player with work getting boards from Oliver Tate, Adam Lack, Stuart Elliott, Stephen Murtagh & Max Bartholomew and Luke Karmazyn orchestrating, Ben Firrell with another amazing game hitting 9/10 shoots and ever present, Nathan Rutherford solid and Jack Bond and Chris Reece distributing the ball well.
Outstanding performance and their best game yet
